Changes at the top!

Brindle & Green’s offices reopen from an extended Christmas holiday on January 6th 2025 and with that come some promotions to support a growing and thriving ecology division.

First to make an upwards move is our current Head of Ecology, Ellen Marshall. From January, we are absolutely delighted to announce Ellen’s promotion to Associate Director. Ellen’s role in reshaping and driving the ecology division over the last 4 years has been nothing short of incredible. As the business grows, Ellen’s upward trajectory gives further support to the direction of the business whilst providing high level technical support to the ecology division. In a slight twist, Ellen is marking this achievement with a year’s sabbatical! Ellen is the second member of staff who we have been able to support with a year’s sabbatical to go travelling. It’s great as an employer to be able to do this for Ellen but also to have the strength & depth in the division to allow this to work so well. Ellen will have contact days with Directors and the Senior team through her time off and we look forward to welcoming her back full time and in her new role at the start of 2026!

Moving up from Principal to our new Head of Department for 2025 is Kinzie Clapham. Kinzie has been a huge part of B&G for the last 7 years, progressing through the company as a result of a huge amount of hard work, commitment, enthusiasm & talent. She has overseen systemic changes at B&G and has played a key role in supporting Ellen in driving the ecology division forward through an incredible phase of growth and change. We are therefore absolutely delighted to see her take the reigns of a now large and impressive ecology division in the new year!!

The final piece of the jigsaw is the promotion of Victoria Halford to Principal Ecologist. This is being viewed as a temporary position for Victoria as a support to Kinzie during Ellen’s sabbatical and we are leaving it with Victoria to decide on her role going forwards in 2026. Vic has been a hugely important driving force in helping the ecology division expand in the last few years. Not only is she an exceptional consultant & ecologist but she is incredibly focused, trustworthy and organised and this promotion is testament to a great deal of brilliant work in recent years. Vic will support Kinzie in managing the division for the year ahead – and hopefully beyond!

We would like to extend our congratulations to all three of them for their respective promotions, thank them for their hard work and we can’t wait to support them in their new roles!
Well done all!
