Project Management Assistant

with administration responsibilities

Full Time/ Permanent – £26k – £28k

Brindle & Green are a medium sized multidisciplinary environmental consultancy working nationwide on a variety of projects of varying complexity to support the planning process.

Following the successful implementation of our client facing projects department, which oversees the delivery of multidisciplinary projects, we are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Management Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Director, who currently leads the projects department, with some additional reception and administration duties where required. This is a dual role with main responsibilities for project management (80% of time) and assisting the administration department (20% of time).

The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, initiative and communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft packages. This role requires the candidate to hold a full UK driving licence as there could be the occasional requirement to travel to meetings and sites.

Responsibilities

  • Manage schedules, and internal / external meetings relating to the project departments.
  • Recording minutes from meetings and distributing actions to the wider team.
  • Update and record project progress within the company project management system.
  • Undertake administration tasks such as issuing report files and providing updates to clients
  • Maintain an organised filing system and support with all documentation received from clients.
  • Handle emails with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Director / Projects Department.
  • Provide assistance to the Administration Department when required, including but not limited to greeting clients, managing reception and transferring calls.

Experience

  • Proven experience in an administrative or personal assistant role is preferred.
  • Proficient in IT: Intermediate Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.
  • Strong administration skills with good attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
