We would like to welcome two new members of the team this past week.
Syd Barwick joins us as an ecological contracting technician having run his own tree surgery business in and around Chesterfield. He is looking forward to the variety of work, especially mitigation measures and tree care. We have no doubt Syd will become an integral part of the team.
Helen Staton joins us from Absolute Ecology as a senior ecologist and having worked for a much smaller company and from home, Helen is currently adjusting to a new role with lots of colleagues and a busy office environment! Helen provides a wealth of experience into a busy and thriving ecology division.
Managing Director Neil Crofts commented,
‘these two strategic appointments are key to the delivery of good quality work across our two largest divisions. Both Syd and Helen join us with plenty of experience in their respective fields and we look forward to supporting their progression within our business’.
Italy, a country renowned for its rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and unparalleled contributions to art and science, served as the backdrop for Laura Emmerson's recent journey. In this immersive study tour, Laura delves into the intricate world of Morphophysiology, exploring how structure and function harmonise within living organisms. This article, written by Laura, captures her experiences, reflections and the invaluable knowledge she gained along the way.
We’re thrilled to welcome Billie-Jo as an Assistant Ecologist—the first new member of our team in 2025!
We are excited to welcome Dominic Taylor to the Brindle & Green contracting team as our new Assistant Contracting Technician!
