Ecological Logistics Manager

Brindle & Green are seeking a Logistics Manager to work within its Ecology Department.

This role would be attractive to someone with experience within an Ecology Consultancy although the skills required for this role are transferable and may suit someone with either a logistics or project management background.

You will be based at our Head Office set in rural Derbyshire, therefore a full (clean) driving licence would be essential. This role, however,  is primarily an office-based position.

Due to our increased business development and growth, we are seeking a diligent, highly organised, and efficient professional to ensure project work is effectively distributed, organised and processed.

You will play a key role in the company’s largest Division and benefit from being part of a vibrant, friendly, and engaging team.

All associated benefits of employment at Brindle & Green are provided with this job advert and can also be found as a download on our website vacancy pages, or can be viewed HERE

The role would include but not be limited to:

  • Oversight of the Department’s project management system
  • Allocating and organising new project work
  • Managing the Department’s diary
  • Overseeing contact with clients on site access and logistics.
  • Provide administrational support to Senior Departmental staff.
  • Work closely with the Company’s Project’s Department who oversee cross divisional project work.
  • Work closely with the Company’s Administration Team to support services such as accommodation and company car allocation.
  • Ensure that Department deadlines are met, and that survey work conforms with industry guidance and policy.
  • Work closely with the Company’s Health & Safety Manager when managing project work.

You would ideally have a good working knowledge of the wide-ranging seasons attributed to species and the habitats we work with. This would make your transition into this role far smoother although all necessary training will be provided.

This is a flexible full-time position.

Salary circa £25-30K

Closing date for applications: 29th March 2024
